If you are at Level 40 or up, you should not have problem defeating him. Be sure to bring lots of items. Use Sleep Seeds and X-Eye Seeds to stop Primal Dialga for a few turns. Throw Vile Seeds if you have Explorers of Time, or eat a Violent Seed if you have Explorers of Darkness. (Explorers of Sky have both seeds.) Do not stay away from Primal Dialga if he doesn't have a condition stopping him from attacking. He will use Roar of Time, a powerful attack that hits both you and your partner. That's the main threat, so keep yourself close to him, for this divides the chance of him using Roar of Time by four. Use attacks to lower his Accuracy, Special Attack, Attack, Special Defense or Defense while he's unable to move. Prefer this to up your own stats, since lowering Primal Dialga stats will benefit both you and your partner. Careful to use Special Attacks if you lower Special Defense and Physical Attacks if you lower Defense. Have attacks that are of the Fighting or Ground types. Avoid using Rock, Steel, Grass, Water, Electric, Psychic, Dark and Bug attacks. Use linked moves against him, if you have.
