Can you get to the Hoenn region in Pokemon Platinum? - Answers

You can't get to the Honen regon in Pokemon platinum. You can however migrate from the honen regon with a Ds or DS lite. What you do for that is after the elite four, you to to the town just after the town you wake up in, the one where the lab is. you go down to the beack and surf to your right. Eventually you'll come to a building, and when you go into it it become fly-to-able. Save and turn off the game, insert ruby or Sapphire into your GBA cartridge and turn on the DS and go to your platinum game. At the main menu scroll down and go to 'migrate from ruby' sometimes it will have to reset the day and you will have to wait a day, (Hopefully by doing it like i did will avoid that but oh well) choose the Pokemon you want to migrate from your storage system, anything in your ruby or sapphire Pokemon party will not be avalable. after you have chosen the Pokemon and exited the migration thing, gointo your normal game and up to the counter, follow the promts, and congratulations, you can now migrate Pokemon.
