I don’t advocate for Massie and Paul to suck it up and vote for the OBBB, however I’d prefer when they say they won’t vote for it, they talk about alternatives, even if they’ve mentioned them before. Many voters won’t remember what they said last week, if they believe in their message, they should consistently pass it out. Insofar as having a plan to “rebuild”, you are correct and I should have been more precise in my language. Example - Close the Department of Education, the follow-up would be to redirect the funds that had been used for constitutionally allowed projects to be forwarded to the states.
