Dragonriding races were a launch feature, and the Kalimdor Cup was introduced with patch 10.1.5 last July, followed shortly afterwards by the Eastern Kingdoms Cup in October, the Outland Cup in January, the Northrend Cup in April, and then… With the launch of the War Within pre-patch event, Dragonriding will be renamed skyriding and a huge number of new and existing mounts will be added to the list of mounts you can use for dynamic flying.
