The Angriest Dog in the World Audio Antihero formed in late 2009 as a means of releasing the lost debut album from Ben and Adam Parker's long-disbanded Nosferatu D2 (https://nosferatud2.bandcamp.com). The album became a cult hit with an audience that included members of Los Campesinos! and Art Brut and it soon earned raves in Drowned In Sound, The Line Of Best Fit, DIY Mag, Pitchfork, and The Skinny. In 2013, the Parker brothers finally reunited when Ben Parker’s Superman Revenge Squad (supermanrevengesquad.bandcamp.com) was expanded to The Superman Revenge Squad Band as Adam Parker and others loaded the “There Is Nothing More Frightening Than the Passing of Time” album with cello, accordion, piano, saxophone and rapid percussion. This eclectic “big band” effort provided a wonderfully vast and varied canvas for Ben Parker’s aching, observational, nostalgic, abstract, and often stream-of-conscious lyrical narratives.
