NLGJA25 Session + Speaker Proposal Form

NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists plans to provide more than 35 workshop opportunities to its attendees throughout the 2025 Convention. Workshop proposals are an integral step in the process the conference planning committee and national office staff take to provide the most up-to-date and relevant workshops to all of our convention attendees. Convention breakout sessions are 60 minutes long. Please be prepared to provide the contact information for a presentation coordinator, an abstract (250 words or less), educational goals for the presentation and any confirmed speakers. If your presentation proposal is accepted, NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists will contact you in early Spring to confirm speakers, their bios, head shots and other requirements for the session. NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists reserves the right to combine panels, assign speakers or affix sponsorships and will inform you as such as soon as possible. THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS IS 12 NOON ET on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5. You can expect to hear back regarding the status of your proposal by April 1.
