Ecotone Renewables Internship Application

This internship will run from June 1st to August 15th, 2023 with the opportunity to continue beyond the internship in another employment capacity. Hours are flexible and self-scheduled for the program. Please fill out the information below and all applications should be submitted by April 24th, 2023. We are looking to fill intern positions for R&D of our ZEUS digester which turns food waste into liquid fertilizer and renewable energy. Preferred students in Pittsburgh and pursuing college or trade-school degree. A means of transportation to and from the system is helpful. This work includes collaboration between team members, numerous local organizations including 412 Food Rescue, and community gardens. Bioenergy: Work on the efficiency of food waste to electricity production and test the system's ability to produce consistent electricity App Team: Assist in developing, gaining feedback, and maintaining the internal-facing company mobile app Develop the consumer app Fertilizer Testing: Help to manage the greenhouse, testing fertilizer on plant growth Send out monthly samples of Soil Sauce for testing and quality check Collaborate with farmers for large-scale testing Operations: Design, build and automate modular anaerobic digestion systems Trained to handle the basic mechanics of our system Responsible for feeding and draining the system twice a week for a total of 4 hours per week Marketing: Help develop the go-to-market strategy Increase brand awareness on social media platforms, IG, FB, Tik Tok, Twitter Assist with the development of internal company communication platforms Manage newsletter content Overall: Attend weekly team meeting Devote at least 10 hours to a skillset-dependent project (Fertilizer/Hydroponics Testing, Community Outreach, System Automation, Bioenergy Research, Sales/Marketing, App/Website Development) Help to build a revolutionizing sustainability company Not located in Pittsburgh?
