WeTeach_CS: Texas Computer Science 8-12 Certification Incentive Program (CIP) Application

This application is for Texas educators applying for a one-time $1,000 stipend through The University of Texas at Austin, WeTeach_CS: Computer Science 8-12 Certification Incentive Program. If you have not yet read the complete application instructions or need to access the instructions in order to submit required documentation please visit the website at https://www.tacc.utexas.edu/epic/weteachcs/certification/cip-checklist. Candidates must meet all the following conditions to be eligible for the CIP stipend: - Be pursuing a TEA certification in Computer Science 8-12. - Not already be certified in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (any level). - Be currently certified to teach in Texas and the teacher of record in a PUBLIC or CHARTER school classroom (not in a private school), or enrolled in an approved teacher certification program for Texas. At this time, applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through December 2025. Funding for this program is limited and an application is considered complete when this online application AND all supporting documentation is complete and received in our office.
