Welcome to my About Me Page. If you’ve found this link, you’ve more then likely come here from my Twitter page, or my Tumblr and since there’s such a small amount of damage I can do in one twitter bio, this will have to serve as a more comprehensive listing for you! My twitter tag is, of course, branfeather, and it was, when I created my account originally, just supposed to be a place where I could say where I was playing and what games I was doing, but as seems to be inevitable with twitter, more things got added, and I’ve created quite a network of people that I follow now, and amazingly enough, some people seem to be interested in my odd, random rambling. Wait, How Do I Know You? If this is a question you find yourself asking when I start @replying to your tweets, or reblogging you, well, that’s not surprising. I tend to go through phases where I change the username I use for different places. Currently, it tends to be Branfeather, Banesidhe (or Banesydhe if the other spelling is taken) or Maleficently. For the quick and dirty, or for the lazy, here’s a rundown on where & who I am in most cases: Branfeather @ PlayStation, Twitch, Twitter. Banesidhe @ Minecraft/Tumblr/Dreamwidth/Wordpress, etc. Maleficently @ Twitter (Duh), LJ, Den of Angels/Flickr Etchedglass @ LJ/Deviant Art, most other creative/graphic profiles adozenpapercuts for Roleplay of the InsaneJournal kind. I am not an exclusive sort of person when it comes to ships and if there are ships I don’t like, I just quietly blacklist them thru Xkit. However, if you want my attention, all you have to do is post some: Steve/Bucky, Steve/Sam, Steve/Tony, Bucky/Clint, Pepper/Tony, Bucky/Natasha, Bucky/Natasha/Steve/Sam, Remus/Sirius, Hermione/Draco, Blackcest, Charles/Erik, Jean/Scott/Logan and Nightcrawler/Anyone World of Warcraft/Transmog:  I am more then a little obsessed with transmog in the MMORPG World of Warcraft. You can find my transmog blog at Transmogative Works, and I run a transmog Tumblr @ FY WoW Transmog. If you’re looking for me in game, I don’t play or support Blizzard’s Games anymore, partly because of their bullshit requirements for faction to unlock new races, and especially after their shoddy treatment of players and catering to the Chinese government.  Gaming:  Primarily I tweet about gaming, on my PC. Games you’ll find me talking about include Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Sims 4, Skyrim, Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life, Guild Wars 2, Borderlands and role-playing games.  I also play on Chicken Smoothie. I used to play Wajas and  Flight Rising, but I only log in on there occasionally. I have profiles on the following gamer sites if you’re interested in adding me. (Please send a msg or something to let me know where you’re coming from, or I’ll just assume I’ve got the attention of random spam bots)          Minecraft: Banesidhe, and I play primarily on the  Nerdcrafteria server and          am a Senior Moderator for the server.  Xbox Live (Banesydhe) Playstation (Branfeather) BJD: As of May 09 or so, I’ve also started obsessively posting about ball joint dolls.  If you’re looking for info on exactly what those are, http://bjd-wtf.livejournal.com/ is a good primer. Den of Angels is a fantastic forum community for people who are as obsessed as I am. I currently own seven ball-joint dolls, including a Fairyland Puki Pukisha named Ruijin and a Dollzone Chen-2 named Seth. You can see pictures of them or learn more about them at my DeviantArt account or Flickr. Work:  I also tweet/blog about work. I’m a law enforcement dispatcher and answer 911 calls for a large agency, and while I won’t be divulging things that could get me fired, I’m always up to offer advice or answer questions on how to  deal with law enforcement. Just keep in mind, I’m not a sworn peace officer, or lawyer, so don’t expect me to give you legal advice. I also rant a lot about stupid 911 calls. Life:  I tweet about other things, as they happen to me, as they occur to me, and if I  happen to be near my cell or computer at the time.  You Didn’t Add me Back/Follow Me/Blocked Me/Reply! 90% of the time, this is not intentional. Messages get lost, I am terrible at replying to things or I just forgot. Try sending the message again.  I don’t automatically follow every blog, simply because I already follow 300+ and have to cull them down regularly. Chances are, if we have similar interests, you’ll be getting a follow.  I am one of those “old”, aka over 40 Tumblr users, and you are on my lawn. ;)  So in some cases, if I know you are underage and/or am uncomfortable with the content you blog, I may pre-emptively block you. This is nothing personal. My blog is occasionally NSFW, and I want to keep my job. I am supremely protective of my privacy in this regard and ask that you respect that. In this case, it’s never personal.  I don’t mind talking to younger people, I am just hyper aware of the hazards that come with on both ends of the spectrum. I try to tag appropriately when possible, and am constantly trying to educate myself on social and political issues. If I misstep or misspeak, please let me know and I will try to make amends. My opinions are my own, and informed by my own choices and life experiences. I am trying to be better!   I am not someone who actively seeks confrontation and drama, and I’d rather just block/ignore then draw something out forever.  Still Reading?  You brave little soldier you.
