The focus is on executing plans, meeting targets, and keeping the Italian B Corp community active and engaged; consistently committed to the well-being and professional development of the local team.The Italian Manager also works to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, business networks, academics, impact investors, large corporations, and consultants. —ensuring B Lab’s tools, frameworks, and messages are understood and applied in the Italian market.Core Responsibilities Coordinate, support, and manage a small, diverse and intercultural team who are focused on community management & engagement, and business development.Deliver activities to grow the existing Italian B Corp market by helping  businesses use of and engage with B Lab’s certification tools and resources;Maintain and strengthen the Italian B Corp community by identifying and acting on opportunities that bring value to its members.Implement  B Lab’s strategy and plan for the Italian market, and ensure timely delivery of key activities and targets.Track progress and performance in collaboration with B Lab Europe, helping the team stay on track and focused.Represent B Lab Italy in relevant forums and act as a spokesperson and connector for the B Corp community in Italy.Collaborate  with the Comms Teams to ensure messaging is aligned with the Italian business context and audience.Coordinate and monitor the Italian budget in alignment with B Lab EuropeProvide input from the Italian market to B Lab Europe and contribute to the broader European B Corp network.Work with B Lab Europe to establish and support a local advisory committee of B Corps in Italy. Preferred Qualifications, Skills and ExperiencePractical, hands-on, and adaptable, with experience working in small, international teams.Comfortable managing and supporting a team to deliver their best work.Experience in or strong understanding of the private sector and how medium to large businesses operate in Italy.Familiarity with business sustainability, impact measurement, stakeholder governance, and circular economy principles.Awareness of evolving ESG reporting frameworks and upcoming regulatory trends.Strong understanding of the Italian business culture and how the B Corp movement fits within it.Fluent in English and Italian at a business/professional level.Passionate about making business a force for good.Organised, proactive, and approachable—able to juggle multiple tasks and keep things moving without losing momentum.Thrives in delivery-focused roles and comfortable working within a global movement.What we offer:The salary for this role is €78500 per year, including a number of benefits including various allowances such as health & wellbeing and additional holidays including travel leave and volunteering leave.Starting date: 1st of SeptemberWorking Arrangements: Hybrid – it is possible to work both from the office in Milan and from home, depending on the needs and requests of the team.Recruitment PolicyWe have made it a priority to hire from a diverse pool of candidates - as we believe that a range of lived experiences, voices, and perspectives directly contributes to the success of our team.
