The John Peel Sessions (1999 Reissue + Bonus Tracks), by A Guy Called Gerald

The John Peel Sessions (1999 Reissue + Bonus Tracks) by A Guy Called Gerald, released 01 January 1999 1. Time Waits For No Man 2. Rockin' Ricki 3. Emotions Electric 4. Johnny Roadhouse 5. Satisfaction 6. Bruford 7. Amabruku 8. Time Labyrinth 9. 3 2 B One 10. I 1 2 4 Q The John Peel Sessions (1999 Reissue) Slowly unravelling the meaning of consciousness. Light and gravity are wave forms through which consciousness passes. Time just seems to be the frequency which consciousness passes through. Life makes consciousness relative. Everything is linear within its own relativity. This body is an echo of something constantly resonant within this eternity of an instant. I still feel there's a force controlling me and that the emotions released are expressed creatively in the form of electronic dance music. Back in the days of 1988 there were very few ears that were receptive to acid house music. John Peel was the first DJ to pick up and play Voodoo Ray on national radio, technically making him the very first broadcasting British house DJ! It has always been an honour for me to do a Peel Sesssion. Thanks to John Peel I had an unbelievably wide range of alternative music at an age when it was important for me to have my ears opened up to the possibilities of what music could be. Listening back through the sessions has given me focus, enabling me to consciously put my music into perspective. This helps me to find new direction in my ongoing quest to push forward my own boundaries. A Guy Called Gerald June 1999 http://www.guycalledgerald.com
